Still has fever

After my daughter's check up, the doctor found that she has tonsillitis. That is why her fever went up to 39.7 degrees! I was so thankful that her fever subsided after she took her paracetamol. She already took her antibiotics to ease up her pain in her throat and be able to recuperate. I hope she will be fine tomorrow. My hubby and I are also worried because on Monday was her periodical test for Science. Still Sick

It is already 5pm here in the Philippines and my daughter still sick. Her fever is at 39 degree Celsius. I already gave her medicine. I hope she will get well pretty soon. I am already worried. EDSA Revolution Day

The Philippines had celebrated the EDSA Revolution Day yesterday the 25th day of February. This was the first ever bloodless revolution of all time. This had happened in 1986 where the Marcos' regime ended by virtue of the People's Power which led to the rise of the Aquino administration. There were so many blood shed, so many rights were violated during the Martial Law. That is the Filipinos strive hard to free from such regime. I do not remember what had really happen because I was in my early elementary grade but from the history books it tells that priest, nuns, and thousands of civilians gathered and assembled themselves in EDSA and there they were putting or placing roses in the mouth of the guns, ammunitions and tanks of the military. So that is why no bloodshed had occurred during that day.

That is why it is a holiday here every 25th day February.

Forgot!

I was so engrossed with our wedding anniversary and I failed to mention here that I got the highest score in our midterm examination in Labor Law. I got 85 out of 100! My hubby was so happy upon learning about this little accomplishment. I hope I will be able to maintain that score until the BAR examination. I hope so . . . .

What To Do In Planning Family Trip

We, as a family usually spend our vacation by making trips to other cities within the Philippines. Family Trips is a way to make a family closer and stronger. My husband and I make it a point that during vacation from school, we spend it together with our daughter for us to have a family bonding and to enjoy every second away from the busy life we have, away from traffic, away from work and away from school! But before going to every vacation, we usually set our plan and itinerary. I usually prepare a checklist to help me get settled all the necessary things to pack. My husband also prepare and have our car check to avoid problems along the way. However, sometimes our checklist is lacking. Wedding Anniversary

Last Saturday was our 6th year wedding anniversary. I surprised my hubby by giving him a citizen watch. I gave it to him at 12:01 a.m, I woke him up just to give it and greeted him. hehehehehe. He was so happy.

At 8 am I went to school to attend my class in Evidence. I called him to fetch me at school at 11:30am. When we reached home, I was so surprise when I opened the gate, there were flowers and balloons along the way. And when I open the door of our room there lies a bouquet and cake on our bed. I really gave way to tears. Gosh! I think I fell deeper inlove with my husband! Here are the flowers and cake that he gave me.




What made our anniversary special was that our daughter bought and surprised us with a blue and pink balloon. Attached to it was a card which stated: Papa I love you and the other Mama I love you, respectively. We were so touched by the thoughtfulness of our 5 year old daughter. And we came to know that she asked for some cash from my husband's mother and requested her aunt to accompany her to buy those balloons. Isn't sweet!?

In the evening, we invited our respective families and some of our close friends to dine with us at a local hotel.

We were so happy that for the last 6 years we are still together, happy and inlove with each other! We are looking forward for a happy and contented life.

Nice Novel

I am currently reading some novels authored by Perri O'Shaughnessy. Perri is a pen name for Mary and Pamela. They are sisters. Pamela was a graduate of Harvard Law School and was a trial lawyer for 16 years. Mary on the other hand is a former editor and writer for multi media project. All of their novels are based on real court procedures to which I find it interesting. They give life to their main character lawyer named Nina Reilly. I already read Breach of Promise and it so expertly written. The twist of the story, the action all were so thrilling that you would not want the book to let go. I am about to finish the adventure of Nina in Invasion of Privacy to which I likewise enjoy and attest that this story is same to be a page-turner. After reading the second novel, I am on my way reading the novel entitled Writ of Execution. I say I learn a lot from these novels.

According to Psychology, "We are the product of the fairy tale we read." Are we? Maybe. Not Bad

I was really nervous yesterday because I have not read my books and if I am called I don't know what to answer, that means, embarrassment. Hehehehehe! As I reached school, one of my classmates informed us that our professor will be late in coming in. So grab my book and read some sections of the Corporation Code. Our professor arrived after an hour and he had not conducted any recitation! I am so happy! My Tuesday is not bad! But he did tell us that he will conduct a recitaion on Thursday. Bed

I saw this bed online, I thought that this could be a good bed for my daughter. As I posted previously, our humble home is still under construction. So I usually brows the net to look for some idea as to how to design things inside the house.

Back to the bed. When I saw it I printed the picture and handed it to the carpenter and asked him if he could copy the style of that bed and he said he can do it. So when I will be going there next week I will take some picture for you to see if he was able to construct it correctly.

Not So Good

I just received the report card of my daughter, I am still happy with her grades though most of her grade got lower except for Science, it raised by 1 point. What despair me is that she is no longer belong in the top 10 of her class because she had a grade of 82, even though her average is high, the lowest qualifying mark is 83. But then I do not put so much pressure on her, she's just 5 years old and I don't want her life to be full of pressure and anxiety, I want her to grow normally as other kids do. Want her to explore life and how to be a real kid. Am I right or not?
