Two Days More To Go

Yes two days more to go! For what? For our vacation in Dakak! We will have a three day vacation as a family. My bother, my three sisters, my mother, my hubby's family plus my hubby and ofcourse my daughter and her cousins. We are all excited to have an 8 hour drive to go there. Can't wait to relax in a white sand beach, away from work, away from the busy life in the city. I will surely post some pictures.

We went to the boulevard this morning. Together with my hubby, my daughter and my dog Ranger. Ranger had fun taking splash to the sea water and my darling daughter made some sand castle. We did have some fun.

A Family Movie

One of our family recreations is to watch movies in theaters. I am a pizza lover so I usually eat pizza while watching some movies. My daughter and my husband usually crave for popcorn while watching the show. We don’t usually just watch any movie. My husband and I usually choose those movies that teach life a lesson. Movie that would teach some lesson or values friendship and family. We make it a point to be choosy in what we watch for our daughter’s sake. Those types of movies may influence my daughter’s point of view.

I would say that the movie All Roads Lead Home is a perfect movie night out for the three of us. This movie is about a girl’s journey to love and friendship. How her life changed when a thoroughbred horse and a dog came to her life. This movie will surely teach children to value animals and life. So parents, let us take our children to the movie house and watch All Road Lead Home. This is an opportunity to have a family bonding. This is a perfect quality time to spend with our respective family.

My Tuesday was worse

I already post that I hate Tuesday but yesterday was worse. I was not able to hop or grab some opportunity because the my laptop's power cord got busted due to over current! The generator set gave off 300 volts (the normal voltage here is only 220 volts) yesterday because its alternating voltage egulated got busted so a lot of laptops, air conditioner, power supplies got busted too.

See? My Tuesdays are getting worse. I hope next Tuesday will be fine

Good News

While at work, my sister buzz me via yahoo messenger. She told me that she is 8 weeks pregnant! Another addition to our family! We are very happy for her because she will now experience a life to be a mother! What makes this baby special is that she or he is a blessing for filling up the empty space that her/his brother left. Actually, the first baby died when he was barely 7 month old. I hope this second baby will fully develop and give my sister a chance to experience motherhood.

Coming back to . . .

This was taken last September 5, 2007. Obvious ba? We were in Dakak then. This coming December 28, 2008, we will be going back! Yapeeeeeeee! We will have a 3-day-vacation in Dakak to unwind ourselves to the busy life we have. My daughter is so excited to be back in Dakak. She loves to swim. When we were in Dakak she spent most of the time in the pool and ran across to jump in to the sea water! She never lost energy until the clock hit 7pm. Can't wait to be there and experience the fun again!

Homecoming

On 12 December 2008 will be the grand alumni homecoming of the university where I graduated. That is tomorrow! My husband and I are going to attnd the said event. Its Thursday today! Another sunny day! Another day for recitation! huhuhuhuhu. Was not able to read my books last night, gonna read at work secretly, shhhhhhhhhhh!

Yesterday, we have received a sad news. My dad's classmate died of heart attack. He is just in his early 50s. I guess heart attack is still the number 1 killer. So we should all take good care of our heart.

Getting to know Lavrenti Lopes

Nice looking guy? Does the face looks familiar? He is Lavrenti Lopes, an Indian model and an actor as well. He is a graduate of Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York City. He was first seen as the yes/no guy in the TATA Trueroots commercial airing on most South Asian networks in US, UK and Canada. He was also an endorser of other commercials, which includes Microsoft, Axe deodorants and Flair Pens. The public took notice of him when he was seen on youtube with the Parodoy Boy Band Boybama in support of Barack Obama.

Sometime in April 2009, he will play as one of the lead stars in an independent film Subhysteria. A film about 16 persons got stuck in a subway car without communication, food, way to escape and a fatal sensation that they are going to die. This film will be released in Venezuela, Mexico and the United States.

This is actually the first feature film of Lavrenti and this film may be the key to open more opportunites for him.

I Catch a Colds

I don't feel good for the past 2 days. I have cough and colds. I kept on sneezing and I have runny nose too. Last night, we dine in a resto and my hubby ordered for a native chicken soup for me. He told me that chicken soup is good for the colds.

4.What happens when Melamine is digested？

Melamine remains inside the kidney. It forms into stones
blocking the tubes. Pain will be eminent and person cannot urinate. Kidney will then swell.


Although surgery can remove the stones, but it will cause irreversible kidney damage. It can lead to loss of kidney function and will require
kidney dialysis or lead to death because of uremia.

What is dialysis？In fact, it should be called "blood washing"
it is filtering all of the body's blood into the machine and then go back to the body.
