A man was sick and tired of going to work every day while his wife stayed home. He wanted her to see what he went through so he prayed: 'Dear Lord:I go to work every day and put in 8 hours while my wife merely stays at home.I want her to know what I go through.So, please allow her body to switch with mine for a day.Amen!' God, in his infinite wisdom, granted the man's wish.The next morning, sure enough, the man awoke as a woman.He arose, cooked breakfast for his mate, Awakened the kids,Set out their school clothes,Fed them breakfast,Packed their lunches,Drove them to school,Came home and picked up the dry cleaning,Took it to the cleaners Went grocery shopping,Then drove home to put away the groceries, He cleaned the cat's litter box and bathed the dog.Then, it was already 01P.M.And he hurried to make the beds, Do the laundry, vacuum,Dust,And sweep and mop the kitchen floor.Ran to the school to pick up the kids and got into an argument with them on the way home.Set out milk and cookies and got the kids organized to do their homework.Then, set up the ironing board and watched TV while he did the ironing.At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes and washing vegetables for salad, breaded the pork chops and snapped fresh beans for supper. After supper,He cleaned the kitchen,Ran the dishwasher,Folded laundry,Bathed the kids,And put them to bed.At 09 P.M .He was exhausted and, though his daily chores weren't finished, he went to bed where he was expected to make love, which he managed to get through without complaint. The next morning, he awoke and immediately knelt by the bed and said: - 'Lord, I don't know what I was thinking.I was so wrong to envy my wife's being able to stay home all day.Please, oh! Oh! Please, let us trade back.Amen!' The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied:'My son, I feel you have learned your lesson and I will be happy to change things back to the way they were. You'll just have to wait nine months, though.You got pregnant last night.'

Gloomy Tuesday

Getting to know Lavrenti Lopes

Nice looking guy? Does the face looks familiar? He is Lavrenti Lopes, an Indian model and an actor as well. He is a graduate of Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York City. He was first seen as the yes/no guy in the TATA Trueroots commercial airing on most South Asian networks in US, UK and Canada. He was also an endorser of other commercials, which includes Microsoft, Axe deodorants and Flair Pens. The public took notice of him when he was seen on youtube with the Parodoy Boy Band Boybama in support of Barack Obama.

Sometime in April 2009, he will play as one of the lead stars in an independent film Subhysteria. A film about 16 persons got stuck in a subway car without communication, food, way to escape and a fatal sensation that they are going to die. This film will be released in Venezuela, Mexico and the United States.

This is actually the first feature film of Lavrenti and this film may be the key to open more opportunites for him.

I Catch a Colds

I don't feel good for the past 2 days. I have cough and colds. I kept on sneezing and I have runny nose too. Last night, we dine in a resto and my hubby ordered for a native chicken soup for me. He told me that chicken soup is good for the colds.

I remember, our teacher in the first grade instructed us to line up because some people in white visited our room. We were all afraid of the needle but we can't help it, our teacher was watching us so we wre forced to line up. I saw my classmates ahead of me crying and I was so afraid too. When my turn comes I was asked to sit on my chair because I already took the shot before. Thanks to my mother! I have not experienced taking my vaccination at school. My mother made sure that before I went to school my vaccination are complete.

4.What happens when Melamine is digested？

Melamine remains inside the kidney. It forms into stones
blocking the tubes. Pain will be eminent and person cannot urinate. Kidney will then swell.


Although surgery can remove the stones, but it will cause irreversible kidney damage. It can lead to loss of kidney function and will require
kidney dialysis or lead to death because of uremia.

What is dialysis？In fact, it should be called "blood washing"
it is filtering all of the body's blood into the machine and then go back to the body.



The whole process takes 4 hours and it is necessary to dialysis once for every 3 days for the rest of your life.

Never Play with Guns

My bestfriend sent me a message this afternoon. She was down hearted because her previous student assistant was accidentally shot in the head. . .

Her student assistant, Empoy, was a working student. He studied hard to be able to finished his degree in criminology. After passing the Board, he applied for the City Police and he was hired. He was the bread winner of his family and at the same time sending his brothers and sisters to school. He even constructed a house for his parents to be completed this December as his first project. While on duty, his bestfriend was playing on his gun and accidentally the said gun fired and the bullet struck straight into the head of Empoy. He was pronounced death on arrival.

Eventhough, I do not personally know Empoy, I know that he is a good man. My heart just ached upon knowing what had happened to him. Just imagine, he worked so hard to finish his studies and less than a year of being a policeman he was accidentally shot. He should have accomplished many things, for himself, for his parents, for his loved ones, for his community. I am a parent too and I can't imagine seeing my precious child die just because of the negligence of other people.

I say never play with guns because it may caused the death of a dear loved one or a person close to you. There are a lot of innocent lives got affected, victimized by such similar accident. How many lives will yet to be wasted just to let other people realized not to play with guns?

Its Friday!

Yes its Friday! I love fridays because this is the last day of work during the week. I can spend a lot of time sleeping and playing with my daughter. We usually wake up at around 7 in the morning during Saturdays and just lying in bed talking, hugging and joking with my daughter and get off the bed at around 8 or 9 or 10 or 11, depending upon our mood (LAZY!). She too love it when I just stays at home. Actually, my husband wants me to resign in my present job to spend more time with them. Oh well, I think I'll resign next year. Not because my husband asked me to do so, rather, I want to concentrate more in my studies. Waaaaaaaaah! I am in my senior year next year! So afraid that the BAR examination is approaching.

Very Busy in the Last 2 weeks

Whew!

I am a little relieved because at last the first semester had just ended, meaning, I have a week break from school! Yes! NO RECITATION & EXAMINATION!

Last night we did have our final examination for Transportation Law. Gosh! Its so lengthy and lots of enumeration. I guess I did pass the test. (WISH KO LANG!) But tonight, we will have a make up class for Business Organiztion, my classmates and I are hoping that our professor will no longer give us any examination. hehehehehe
