Sorry for not Hopping

I know it has been almost eight days since I have not been hopping to my various friends and visitors. My mid term examination is now on going, need to study hard. So I am just here to update my blog but I promose after my exam is through, I will be active in my hopping again.

Electric Cars

BYD was once the biggest China battery maker. But the owner of this company is not contented with that line of business. They had improved their battery manufacturing and they never wasted their time and get into the new world of electric cars and plug-in hybrids. It all started with the F6DM plug-in hybrid sedan, followed by the smaller and less expensive F3DM plug-in hybrid compact car.

Now BYD Auto has introduced its E6 electric car at the Beijing International Auto Show. It takes the shape of a crossover, or MPV, and will be built on the F6's platform (same as the F6DM, which could be sold in Europe by 2010). E6 specifications are as follows:

· 5 seater

· with an acceleration of 0 to 100 kph of around 10 seconds

· Top speed should be top speed of 160 kph (100 mph)

· the battery pack, which is located under the rear passenger seats, will be based on BYD's own lithium-ion iron phosphate technology. Range per charge is expected to be 300 km (186 miles)

Moreover, BYD Auto projected that the battery had a life of 2,000 cycles, for a lifetime range of about 600,000 km (373,000 miles). Can you believe that? Plus smoke free and thus environmental friendly!

Meet Ranger!

Meet my dog named Ranger. He is a 100% German Shepherd. Our Godparents gave him to us when he was just a puppy. Now he is already 1 year and 6 month old.

We are so glad that he came to our lives. He guards our home while we are gone. Before, a lot of thieves broke in and stole items inside our home but ever since he came we have not experience any. Glad to have him.

A Story

I want to share a story which my professor shared to us last night. . .

A girl who will be turning 18 years old and she asked her parents to give her a car in her debut. The parents just smile. So she concluded that the smile means yes and so she expected that her gift will be a car. Comes her debut, to her disappointment her parents gave her a bible instead of a car. She was so depressed and was very angry. She left home and did not return. After several years, her parents died in a car accident. So she was forced to go home. She saw that the gift, the Bible, was untouched. She picked it up and open it. To her surprised, at the first page of the bible there was a key and a note saying, "To our beloved daughter, the car is in the garage. We love you".

How would you think the daughter reacted? What will be her feelings knowing that she should have spent those wasted years with her parents, never had a chance to say thank you, never had a chance to say i love you?
